Terms & Conditions

By entering The Earth Agency’s ‘Win a Brand Identity’ competition you are deemed to have read and accepted all aspects of the rules described on this page. 

  1. Entrants must be from the Gen Z generation in 2021, aged 24 years old or under. If under 18, you must be authorized by your legal guardian. 

  2. All entries submitted must be by the Gen Z applicants themselves and be the author of the business idea.

  3. To enter the competition, each entrant must answer all three questions requested to be considered.

  4. Mature or inappropriate content – any submission containing nudity, large amounts of simulated blood and gore, or generally violent themes or inappropriate content will be dismissed.

  5. There is no submission fee.

  6. We accept a maximum of 1 entry per person.

  7. Entries must relate to current brand ideas, already launched and active, or to be launched in the near future.

  8. It is encouraged that brand ideas submitted relate to sustainability, doing good for people and planet, or the UN SDGs and will be a key criteria.

  9. Applicants from all countries can submit an entry.

  10. Communication with all entrants will be made solely online, digitally. 

  11. Applicants are responsible for providing correct personal information for the organisers to be able to contact them.

  12. Entrants must ensure that they have the commercial and moral rights of their business idea so that there is no conflict of interests.

  13. The Earth Agency respects your rights and does not claim copyright for works you submit to the contest. You will retain full copyright in each entry.

  14. The winner agrees to permit external communication of the brand identity proposal; not limited to publicity, press, website, social media, and any printed or digital material.

  15. The jury’s decision is final and if The Earth Agency is unable to contact any short-listed entrant or winner via the email address supplied by the entrant, the short-list position/prize lapses and The Earth Agency reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  16. Shortlisted entrants (if applicable) and winner will be contacted directly. The name of the winner and shortlisted entrants (if applicable) will be published on social media and elsewhere in competition publicity.

  17. Winner must be available to collaborate on the brand identity proposal with The Earth Agency until December 2021.

  18. In all matters arising in connection with the competition, The Earth Agency’s decision shall be final. No cash alternative is available.

  19. All entry submissions are final. No compensation can be requested.

  20. The Earth Agency reserves the right to cancel this competition or alter these rules if it considers that it has good reason to do so.

  21. These rules are governed by English law and any disputes will be decided only by the courts of the United Kingdom.

  22. The winning applicant will receive a brand identity proposal including brand positioning, a recommendation for brand graphics, colour palette and typography, and a set of ideas for design and communication applications. This will be shared via a digital presentation and once delivered to the winner, it will be final and complete the prize.

  23. The prize does not include any design work.

  24. The Earth Agency reserves the right to define timings of delivery based on both the winner’s and the agency’s availabilities, the research needed for the project and other pending commitments.

  25. The applicants are responsible for correctly describing their work. Any changes to the original details provided upon application must be notified in writing to the Organisers before the deadline.
